The Year of Literature in Russia-2015: The V Interregional Festival “Siberian book” opened in Novosibirsk

More than 70 events are announced in the program of the main events of the autumn season of the All-Russian Year of Literature in the Novosibirsk region – the V Interregional festival "Siberian book", which is held in the region on 1-3 September on the basis of the State Scientific and Technical Library of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Cultural event program of the festival includes meetings with writers, open classes, discussions, round tables, presentations of books and publishers.

The festival will feature a set of socially significant events that promote the book and facilitate an increase in readership among the inhabitants of the area.

As part of the festival "Siberian Book" will be held meetings with Moscow and Novosibirsk writers, panel discussions, workshops, presentations, bookstores and publishing houses, the action "Hour of reading" (the actors of Novosibirsk theater read the works of contemporary Siberian poets and writers), "Knigovorot" (exchange of books between the visitors to the festival events); will be featured various cultural associations and creative unions of the Novosibirsk region. Within three days, residents and visitors will be able to see the exhibition, visit the tour of the halls of the library.

In addition, on the Knowledge Day - September 1 will be held two public lessons on literature for high school students within the nationwide "Open lesson of literature".
