Information technology and education: “E-school” project to be launched in 2016

The "E-school" project will be launched in 2016, said the head of the Ministry of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov in his speech at the Federation Council.

"Next year, in conjunction with the best Russian teachers there will be launched the "E-school" project, enabling to create an open source with a complete school course to assist all students and teachers," said Livanov.

The minister reminded that the new order of formation of the list of textbooks had been adopted: the manual must include not only a special teacher’s book, but also an electronic version of the textbook.
