Information technology and museums: Free audio guides are available at all the branches of the Astrakhan State National Park and Museum

The next in order stage of the project of gearing museum’s visitors with modern and free audio guides was completed at the Astrakhan State National Park and Museum. At present, all city branches of the State National Park and Museum have an additional service: the National History Museum, the Astrakhan Kremlin, the Astrakhan Culture Museum, the Museum of Military Glory, and the City History Museum. Now, any visitor who came to the museum with his mobile device can independently and thoroughly acquainted with the exhibition. The pictures of exhibits are used for navigation.

Audio tour with GPS-navigation can be used in the Astrakhan Kremlin. The residents and the tourists will be able to hear the details about the exhibits in both automatic, and manual modes in user’s choice.

A tour of the city's branches can be also taken virtually on the museum’s site in the "Virtual tours" section.

There are plans to create in the nearest future the "Museum Ring" audio tours with GPS-navigation, which will bring together all of the most important objects in the historical part of the city, as well as all the branches of the Astrakhan Museum.
