Society and Media: Festival of Russian Press in Crimea

The leading publishers and distributors of printed media will gather on October 23-24 in Simferopol at the II Festival of the Russian Press.

The festival invited major Russian publishing houses, which known both in Russia and abroad, as well as private companies and enterprises operating in the field of newspapers, magazines and periodicals distribution.

At the festival’s agenda is the exhibition of magazines, newspapers and periodicals, released during the first six months of 2015. Residents and guests of the Crimean peninsula will get a chance to find out about new Russian publications, as well as to review the best magazines and newspapers that has repeatedly received prizes and awards at the press international events. In addition, the festival will let the most famous and recognized journalists from all regions of Russia to bee seen.

Crimea residents will participate in master class programs, exhibitions, fairs, discussions, exchange read literature and buy a new well-known newspapers and magazines.

The organizers have planned discussions, the readers’ meetings with journalists working for the leading federal and regional periodicals in Russia, as well as a number of actions that aimed at promoting interest in reading, various presentations of publications, competitions and quizzes.
