Society and culture: “Nikolai Feshin. Graphics, pictorial miniature” exhibition in Moscow

The exhibition "Nikolai Feshin. Graphics, pictorial miniature" is taking place at the "Veresov Gallery", Moscow, from October 22 to November 23, 2015.

The exhibition first features graphic works by the artist from the private collections and Russian museums and foundations, including the National Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan, which has the most significant collection of Nikolai Feshina in the world, the Bahrushin State Central Theater Museum (Moscow), the State Russian Museum, the Scientific Research Museum of the Russian Academy of Arts (St. Petersburg), art museums of Samara, Cheboksary, Kozmodemyansk, Ufa.

For the first time the graphical legacy of Nicholai Feshin from domestic collections is presented in full. A graduate of the Imperial Academy of Fine Arts, a student of Ilya Repin, he is a part of not only Russian art, but due to emigration of American art too. Nicholai Feshin is often called "the painter of the two continents."

The exclusivity of this exhibition is the maximum number of the works on display and the address to the unique talent of the artist.
