History and culture: New regular exhibition “The art of great style” opened in the Museum Reserve “Tsaritsyno”

The Museum-Reserve "Tsaritsyno» (Moscow) opened a new permanent exhibition of Soviet arts and crafts of 1961-1991 "The art of great style."

The exhibition features works from the Tsaritsyno Museum: tapestries, decorative compositions of metal, glass, ceramics and porcelain. Many items have been on display at the republic, national and international exhibitions and received many awards. These are the best samples of the so-called "arena art" - in 1960-1980 it was the name for the works intended for major art exhibitions of the country. The exhibition provides a new look at the legacy of the Soviet era and the works created by "public order."
