International conferences: The X International “Lermontov readings” are opened within the project “Lermontov days in Saint-Petersburg”

October 15, 2015 in the Grand conference hall of the Institute of Russian Literature (the Pushkin House) RAS are opened the X International "Lermontov readings" within the framework of "Lermontov days in St. Petersburg".

"Lermontov days in St. Petersburg" are held from 12 to 16 October 2015 in the M. Y. Lermontov Central Library. (St. Petersburg). Each year, in honor of the writer's birthday the specialists of the project "M. Y. Lermontov: heritage" prepare a cultural program for the admirers of the writer, and all lovers of literature. St. Petersburg offers exhibitions, workshops, tours, film screenings, music programs and much more. The main event - "Lermontov readings", which involved Lermontov admirers, critics, historians, linguists, and others.

Readings open the birthday of writer Mikhail Y. Lermontov. This year the theme of the event will be the "Synthesis of Arts in Lermontov's legacy". Creativity of Lermontov is considered in the context of art, music, theater and cinema.

Reading will continue on October 16 in the White Hall of the M. Y. Lermontov Central Library.
