Society and reading: The III Forum to support books and reading “On literary waves of Kamchatka” in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski

From October 6-10, 2015 on the S. P. Krashennikov Kamchatka Regional Library (Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski) within the framework of the Year of Literature is held the III Forum to support books and reading “On literary waves of Kamchatka”. 

The forum started with the presentation of the book exhibition “On literary waves of Kamchatka” which presented more than 500 artworks – the literature of Kamchatka during 300 years.  

There will also be held the presentation of a collection of poetry by the indigenous peoples of Kamchatka “View”, which included the original works of the Chukchi poet Vyacheslav Anhaki, as well as young poets – representatives of Itelmen, Koryak, Evenk and Chukchi peoples.

During the forum other meetings, presentations and lectures will be held.
