Exhibitions: Photo exhibition of works, made in space, opened in Kaliningrad

3 October 2015

"Living in zero gravity" - the title of a new photo exhibition that opened at the Museum of the World Ocean (Kaliningrad) on September 30, 2015. It presents 40 works made in space. They were handed by Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko. The pictures belong to the US space agency (NASA) and were created during the 30th and 31st expedition to the ISS, both of which Oleg Kononenko participated with American Donald Pettit and Andre Kuipers of the Netherlands. Their flight, committed in 2011-2012, lasted 192 days. The photo exhibition tells of it.

Fantastic views of the planet Earth - another part of the exhibition is certainly the most colorful and fascinating.

The exhibition will be the prologue of the traditional Space Week of the Museum of the World Ocean, the beginning of which is, as always, October 4 - the day of the launch of Sputnik.
