Book exhibition "Konstantin Simonov: journalist, writer, soldier" timed to the centenary anniversary of famous national poet, novelist, playwright, essayist, was opened in the Amur Regional Scientific Library.

In the section of the exhibition "The voice of the generation" are presented books about Karl Simon - a war correspondent, who from the first days of the Great Patriotic War visited all fronts, who has become a witness to the last battle for Berlin, which passed from the field of speech - a brief, as the shots and accurate as the truth itself. Simonov knew war firsthand, experienced himself as an ordinary soldier.

The section "Chronicler of War" features literary and educational materials covering a military prose of Simonov. The war in the works of Simonov is volume and he sees it from different angles and perspectives, moving freely in its territory from the trenches of the front edge to the army headquarters and the deep rear.

Poems of Simonov taught not only to fight, but literally helped to live. One of these - the poem "Wait for me…". On the history of this poem is told in the section "Wait for me, and I will be back…".

The exposition will run until December 23.
