Libraries and society: The B. A. Porfiriev is the fourth Intelligence-center in Kirov

November 19, 2015 the B. A. Porfiriev Library was presented as the fourth Intelligence-center in Kirov.

The first Intelligence-center was opened in 2013 on the basis of the A. M. Vasnetsov Library, the second in the Year of Culture – 2014 was the A. M. Gorky Library, and in the Year of Literature the name of Intelligence-centers received Library № 12 and B. A. Porfiriev Library № 14.

The purpose of this three-year project - the creation in remote from the city center libraries of conditions for the implementation of interesting cultural programs, for self education, for meaningful leisure activities. Intelligence Center is designed primarily to attract young people to read.
