Electronic editions: The e-version of the reference book of Tambov musicologist

The sector of literature in art and the department of IT-technologies of the A. S. Pushkin Tambov Regional Library released an e-book edition of the Tambov regional historian and musical activist Andrei Mikhailovich Belkin (1934-2008) "The musicians of the Tambov region". This CD is an improved and expanded version of the paper edition, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the author's and prepared by the specialists of the library at the end of 2014.   

The biographical reference reflects information about the musical figures connected with the Tambov region: composers, musicologists, educators, performers, instrumentalists, singers, conductors, choral figures, folklorist as well-known as well as those whose creative activity with the passage of time began to be forgotten, little known or even wider audience. All of them have made a significant contribution to culture of the region and Russia as a whole. In drawing up the reference book were taken into account in the Tambov province, which are now in the neighboring areas. Chronological coverage - from the second half of the XVIII century to the present day. The book has about two hundred biographies, which are arranged in alphabetical order by the names of persons.

The uniqueness as printed and electronic edition is that both versions from typing to cover, from the development of software, layout and design of the electronic layout before recording the disc were made by experts of the A. S. Pushkin Regional Scientific Library supported by TGU of G. R. Derzhavin and TGMPI of Rachmaninoff.

Multimedia edition includes a large number of photos, extensive and unique musical material, extended bibliographies, interactive index.
