Information technology and society: The service “My office” is launched by Russian developers

Russian developers of the company "New cloud technology" presented domestic analogue of Microsoft Office called "My office". The first users will be the Russian officials and students.

Representatives of the developer company noted that the software was created entirely from scratch. The standard package of "My Office" has entered a text editor program to work with spreadsheets, e-mail client, calendar, software for creating presentations and working with contacts. For those who work for desktop computers, a document repository is available.

"My office" is based on the eponymous cloud platform. Project is implemented since spring 2013. The software development involves experts with experience in the creation of the editors of electronic documents "Lexicon», QuickOffice and others.

Among the advantages of the package the developer indicates broad support for software platforms and devices. "My office" works on computers running Microsoft Windows, MacOS, Linux, as well as on tablets and smart phones based on iOS Android. Also, the manufacturer notes support for common document formats, including formats of Microsoft Office. In addition, the feature is a single core displaying and editing documents, which guarantees them the same appearance on all devices.
