The Year of Literature in Russia-2015: The exhibition “Landscape in the novel of M. A. Sholokhov “Quietly Flows The Don” in the Rostov region

November 18, 2014 in the excursion and exhibition center “People’s House” of the M. A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve (the Rostov region) is opened the exhibition of works by the artist Alexei Bogdanov “Landscape in the novel M. A. Sholokhov “Quietly Flows The Don”.

A. P. Bogdanov – the member of the Union of Artists and Designers of Russia, the member of the Union of Artists of Germany. His ancestors were originally from the Don, and the Don theme is close to the artist.

The exhibition presents drawings by Bogdanov of the past two years on the 1st and the 2nd book of the novel "Quietly Flows the Don".

Each painting is accompanied by a quote from the novel that not only facilitates the perception of the graphic image of the landscape, but also causes an additional interest in the great works.

The exhibition will run until February 29, 2015.
