
History and culture: The exhibition of toys of 1920-1950s from the collection of the Museum-Reserve “Kolomenskoye” in Moscow
The Small Exhibition Hall of the Palace of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich in Kolomenskoye (Moscow) hosts the exhibition "Another childhood. Toys of 1920s – 1950s from the collection of the Museum-Reserve and collector Sergei Romanov". It will continue its work until 28 February 2016.
When Soviet authority, toys and board games were not only a means of entertainment, but also a means of propaganda. Toys and games help educate the younger generation. Soviet industry produced a specially designed board games for children, develop intelligence, reaction speed, skills, strategies, and sometimes - and the right attitude to what is happening in the country.
