Copyright: Round table on protection of copyright in Internet in Moscow

November 13, 2015 in Moscow will be held a roundtable on the topic "Protection of intellectual property of publishers of periodicals and publishers in the Internet: Challenges and Prospects".

The event is held with the support of the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications.

The round table will feature the following issues:

- infringement of copyright of publishers of periodicals and book publishers in Internet and their influence on the industry as a whole;

- The jurisprudence of the courts of cases of infringement of copyright, related rights of publishers of periodicals and book publishers;

- strategy to combat with “piracy” in Internet: jurisdictional and technological challenges;

- current results of the fight against “piracy” and new challenges;

- content, digitization, e-library systems;

- project of the National Electronic Library;

- “global license” and its influence on the condition of the security of interest of publishers of periodicals and book publishers.
