History and culture: The scientific conference “The Moscow Kremlin and the era of Boris Godunov” in Moscow

From 11 to 13 November 2015 in the Patriarch's Palace of the Moscow Kremlin is held the scientific conference "The Moscow Kremlin and the era of Boris Godunov". The event was attended by representatives of the Moscow Kremlin Museums, the State Institute of Art, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Andrei Rublev Central Museum of Ancient Culture and Art, the Russian Academy of Sciences and universities.

During the conference, participants will discuss the questions of spiritual and literary culture in Moscow of the XVI century, the form of court ceremonial and symbolic and artistic expression, the activities of the court workshops and problems of studying the art of the court of Moscow, its semantic and artistic features; history of the formation of the Kremlin historical-cultural meetings in the XVI century; Culture of Muscovy relationship with cultural phenomena and processes in Western Europe and the East; the value of court culture in Moscow end of the XVI century in the history of spiritual and cultural processes and events in Russia.
