Book publishing and book distribution: International Book Fair “Library/Education” in Bratislava

From 5 to 8 November 2015 Russia takes part in the International Book Fair "Library/Education" in Bratislava.

This year, Russia will present at the fair a solid program. At the national booth, traditionally made in the colors of the Russian flag, were placed the book market trends, new editions of Russian classics and works by contemporary Russian authors, books in humanities, illustrated children's books, new editions of the modern Russian Slavonic. Separate sections are devoted to the exhibition of historical and cultural heritage and modern achievements of the peoples of the Caucasus and the books published to celebrate this year the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Special attention at the international book fair "Library/Education" is devoted to the study of the Russian language. Together with the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Slovak Republic is prepared a great scientific and practical conference of teachers of the Russian language and Russian philology specialists "To the Year of Russian literature. We learn Russia through its language and literature", which will be held in the Great Hall of the exhibition complex. 

Interesting events will be held outside the fair. The round table "The image of Russia - yesterday, today, tomorrow. Problems of learning and teaching of the Russian language and literature" will take place in the Komensky Bratislava University, the Russian Centre of Science and Culture - a round table on exchange of experience in the field of Russian language teaching, in Albert Einstein bilingual Gymnasium will be held a meeting with the writer Anna Matveeva.

At the end of the fair the book exhibition will be donated to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Slovak Republic.
