Information technology and history of Russia: Multimedia park “Russia – my history” in Moscow in VDNH

Park "Russia - my history", which is based on historical multimedia exhibition of Russian Orthodox Church, is opened on December 29, 2015 in the 57th pavilion of the VDNH. 

"This unique multimedia platform will allow touching the wonderful and unique world of Russian history", - the press service of the project "My History". Materials of the exposition of a cycle "My History" will occupy more than 22 thousand sq. meters and will be located on two levels of the pavilion. 

According to the press service, "the creators of the park – they are historians, artists, filmmakers, designers, computer graphics - did everything for Russian history to move from the category of black-and-white textbook into a bright, exciting and at the same objective narration, that every visitor felt involvement in the events of more than a thousand-year history of the Fatherland". 

"Travel" in the park will be using touch screens and tables, roomy theater, light boxes, collages, projectors, tablet PCs. In the preparation of exposure were used techniques of video graphics, animation, three-dimensional modeling and digital reconstructions. The first will open the expositions "Rurik" and "The Romanovs". In April 2016 the third exhibition of the work will begin the series "My history. From the great shocks to the Great Victory", covering the period from 1914 to 1945. The fourth exhibition of the project dedicated to the period from 1945 to 2000, will take its place in the historical park in 2017. The organizers believe that the historical park visitors will be, first of all, the youth, as well as all interested in Russian history. "Here will be set up youth clubs and historical lectures", - said the press-service. Expositions of the Historical Park are prepared by Patriarchal Council for Culture with the support of the Government of Moscow.
