Internet and museums: The Museum of Modern Art “Garage” launched the new website

Museum of Contemporary Art "Garage" (Moscow) on 22 December 2015 launched a new website - additional features, easy navigation and detailed information on the activities of the Museum are presented in the updated format.

Important tasks in the development of the website is the ease of use and the ability to represent all of the activities of the Museum for Russian and international audience.

For visitors is available a functional calendar of events of the Museum, through which you can easily plan your visit to the exhibition, lectures and master classes, as well as the right to purchase a ticket to the exhibition or a subscription for online educational courses. Special filters help you to navigate the saturated schedule of events at "Garage".

Now you can learn in detail about the collection of the Museum of the "Garage" - the world's largest meeting devoted to the study of processes taking place in Russian art since the mid-1950s to the present day. The archive includes extensive documentary material on the history of contemporary art in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other Russian cities. Anyone can become familiar with the collection and ask the specialists of the scientific department for consultation by filling out an application online.

In the section "Research" there is detailed information on research initiatives and projects of the Museum, which were held at various times up to the present day. A separate unit is dedicated to information and expert materials: interviews with curators, book reviews and news about current projects. In 2016 at the website will be an online version of the interactive installation "Tree of contemporary Russian art".

The mobile version of the Museum’s website will be also available to users.
