President of Russia: Vladimir Putin has signed a Decree on the establishment of the All-Russian educational organization “Knowledge”

President of Russia Vladimir Putin has signed a Decree of the establishment of the All-Russian educational organization “Knowledge”. The document is published at the official website of the legal information. 

It notes that the head of state considered it appropriate to create the All-Russian public and state educational organization “Russian society “Knowledge” with the participation of public organizations. The founder of the organization on behalf of the Russian Federation will be the Ministry of Education and Science.

According to the Decree, the organization is being created “in order to further development of civil society, spirit and moral education of citizens of Russia and the increase of the efficiency of educational work”.
