Information technology and libraries: Electronic reading room is opened in the Alexander Nevsky Lavra Library

In the new reading room visitors of the Lavra library have access to the collection of electronic publications on the library server to the electronic catalog of publications and the Orthodox Internet resources. The collection of electronic publications is made up of scanned by the Presidential Library "Church statements published by the Holy Synod" for the 1888-1918. (array is updated), the scanned staff of the Lavra library "St. Petersburg Diocesan sheets" for 1990-2009, custom-made copies of small parts of the monastery archive documents, now located in the RSHA, books on theology, biblical studies, church history, linguistics, clicked in general use and obtained by the web archive, as well as electronic copies of the most common textbooks and manuals for Orthodox schools and courses.
