Exhibitions: Photo exposition “Sicily” in the Library of Foreign Literature in Moscow

The M. I. Rudomino All-Russian State Library of Foreign Literature (Moscow) from December 1, 2015 presents a photo exhibition "Sicily".

Sicily - the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, inhabited already in the ancient historical period. Many tribes and peoples want to own fertile land: Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, Vandals, Byzantines, Arabs, Normans… All of them brought something new, which has become the cultural heritage of the island. The unique monuments on the background of beautiful nature create a unique appearance of the island.

The exposition includes photographs of architectural monuments of different eras and natural attractions of the island of Sicily, made by T. K. Grekova while traveling.
