Society and culture: The exhibition of works of Russian artists from the collection of I. I. Brodsky in Saint-Petersburg

The Brodsky Museum-Apartment (Saint-Petersburg) hosts the exhibition "Sketches, drafts, studies, full-scale productions in the works of Russian artists from the collection of Brodsky".

The collection of Brodsky that the artist collected to his liking, presents unique works of famous Russian artists: I. E. Repin, P. P. Chistyakov, A. N. Benois, V. D. Zamirailo, B. M. Kustodiev, F. A. Malyavin, A. E. Yakovlev, M. V. Dobuzhinsky, B. I. Anisfeld and many others.

Every item in his collection is not accidental, it has great artistic merit and magically attracts the viewer, drawing him into his poetic world. The collection provides a new look at the work of famous masters of Russian art in touch with the intimate, chamber representation of artists. A preliminary sketches, drawings, drafts for future paintings masters give the opportunity to feel the creative process of artists to trace the origin and embodiment of the design of the future of the web. The focus of the artists of the past era has always been people. Full-scale production - is an important step, both in art school, and in the independent works of Russian artists. This was clearly reflected in the collection of I. I. Brodsky.
