Internet and Russian regions: Information resource “300 facts about Omsk” to the 300th anniversary of the city

Local History Department of the Central City Library of Omsk has developed a new information resource "300 facts about Omsk", dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the city.

The new information resource reflects the most important and interesting events and facts, covering the history and the present of the city: the activities of residents, landscaping and appearance of the city, the history of educational institutions, scientific societies, museums and libraries. Here - all the fun, all that "first" - the first temple of Omsk, the first brass band, the first weather station in Omsk, the first movies, the first city stadium and many more. The facts are available at the home page of the budget institution "Omsk municipal libraries".

The sources of factual information were the publication of the Foundation of the Central City Library, as well as materials from the State Archive of the Omsk region.
