Russian language abroad: Chinese city of Nanjing hosts the Center of Russian language

Center of the Russian language and Russian culture began to work in the Chinese Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province. It was opened by Moscow State Regional University (Moscow State Open University) for the second Jiangsu Institute of Education.

It is planned that the Russian institution of higher education will help the work of the new center. "First of all, it will be a methodical and staff support", - said the rector of Moscow State Open University Pavel Khromenkov. There will operate an advanced training of teaching staff, projects will be implemented to teach Russian language. In the center will be held events and activities for students studying Russian language. In addition, it is known that in the Russian capital will soon be held a seminar for heads of educational institutions in Jiangsu Province.
