The exhibition "To break all the issues in the novel…" dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the novel "Crime and Punishment", opened at the F. M. Dostoevsky Literary Memorial Museum in St. Petersburg.
The exhibition is structured as a multi-faceted depth commentary on the text, which is reproduced in full on the perimeter walls of the hall. The text of the novel - is a major and an inexhaustible source of knowledge intent of the author. It is read in its entirety, and on the milestones identified fragments, most of which are associated with the images of books, manuscripts, documents, placed side by side.
The exhibition widely uses draft manuscripts of Dostoevsky with the outline of the novel.
The leitmotif of the exhibition - a Petersburg by Dostoevsky, with its apartment houses, courtyards, canals, bridges, embodied largely in the drawings of B. G. Kostygov many years studied Petersburg of Dostoevsky.
