Memorable dates of Russia: Events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Soviet Information Bureau

January 13, 2015, on the Day of the Russian press, will start the events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Soviet Information Bureau (Information Bureau). On this day, at the website ria.ru will be open a special historical section dedicated to the history of contemporary international journalism.

Heroes of the materials under the slogan "75 years. The story begins with the news" will be international journalists from different generations, including those who led the reports from the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. The section will be added with rare archival photos and records.

In addition, in the anniversary year MIA "Russia Today" will publish a collection of posts of Sovinformburo, will prepare a photo album that photographers will reflect their view of history and modernity. Also in the program of events to mark the anniversary of the news, will be held lectures, an exhibition of photographs, meeting with readers, and more. The final event will be the Media Forum "The story begins with the news", which will be held on June 24, 2016.
