5 January 2016

"Dressed in muses’ shine asylum..." reading, dedicated to the memory of Semen Stepanovich Geychenko (1903-1993) - the legendary Curator of Pushkinogorye, will take place on February 11-14, 2016, in Pushkin State National Park and Museum.

The 2016 is declared a Year of movies in Russia.

Cinematography is a synthesis of literature, fine arts, theater and music. And the museums, in turn, are embracing all artistic mediums. All muses, embodying eternal truths, converge under the canopy of old parks and museums.

The XXI century’s museums, whatever they may have been in their character, expertise and presentation of their collections, cannot do now without the film and video funds, and without interactive elements of the exposition. Museums actively cooperate with filmmakers, both - documentary and feature movies.

Pushkin State National Park and Museum invites to participate in the February readings representatives of all creative professions, the employees of literary, artistic, historical, memorial, music, and theater museums, so all muses’ reps get a chance to tell about their creative work, the most interesting and important issues of saving the traditions of classical art in modern world that allows to preserve our national treasures for future generations.
