Society and Book Culture: "My Love Fairy Tale" exhibition of book illustration at the Library of Foreign Literature

"My Love Fairy Tale" an exhibition of book illustration of famous Cuban artist Enrique Martinez, organized in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba and the "Editorial-Tandem" publishing house in the framework of the "The Artist and the Word" exhibition program and the Year of literature in Russia will ran until January 31, 2016, in the White Hall of the Library for Foreign Literature (Moscow).

Enrique Martinez is the illustrator, who was born in 1947 in the city of Matanzas, Cuba. Many books for children and youth were published around the world under his direct guidance.

The extensive publication of books with his illustrations along with shown in 16 countries exhibitions prove a world fame and popularity of the artist. But in Russia, the personal exhibition of Enrique Martinez goes for the first time. The exhibition includes works by artists of different years performed in different artistic techniques, as well as some of his unpublished pieces.

The visitors will have a chance to get familiar with the books of Cuban and Mexican writers and poets, illustrated by Enrique Martinez.
