Information technology and society: The World Mobile Congress is held in Barcelona

The annual Mobile World Congress (GSMA Mobile World Congress), or just GSMA MWC, is held from 22 to 25 February 2016. This is a very significant event in the mobile world. GSMA more than 10 years was held in Cannes, but in view of the limited capacity of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, it moved to Barcelona.

Here leading representatives of the industry - operators, manufacturers of mobile devices and multiservice providers bring together. During the event the top management companies, holding leading positions in the wireless market, holds meetings and seminars that discuss relevant topics in the mobile communications industry, as well as the prospects of the industry and future technology.

After the transfer from Cannes to Barcelona GSMA World Congress, already the largest event in the world of mobile and wireless technology, has reached a new level and now GSMA includes not only the conference, but also a huge exposition, where manufacturers and operators demonstrate their latest achievements technology, equipment and communications services.
