Memory of Russia: The exhibition “The Immortal Battalion” to the Day of the liberation of Staraya Russa from Nazi invaders
February 18, 2016 in the Staraya Russa branch of the Novgorod Museum Reserve – the Museum of the North-Western Front – is opened the exhibition "The Immortal Battalion".
The exhibition is timed to the Day of liberation from Nazi invaders. It presents documents, photographs, personal belongings of soldiers and members of the guerrilla movement. These are authentic items from the last acquisitions, which are exhibited for the first time. A significant part of the collected materials traces the fate of the residents and the residents of Staraya Russa and the Staraya Russa district.
February 18, the Museum of the North-Western Front, traditionally hosts the Open Day. For visitors will be organized thematic tours about the liberation of the city and the region "How it was" and battles in the North-Western Front, the symbol of which was Staraya Russa.
