History and culture: The exhibition, dedicated to Leo Tolstoy, in Rostov-on-Don

February 18, 2016 in the "Sholokhov center" in Rostov-on-Don is opened the exhibition "When you cannot but write". This is a joint project of the Museum-Estate of Leo Tolstoy "Yasnaya Polyana", the State Museum of Leo Tolstoy (Moscow) and the M. A. Sholokhov Museum-Reserve (the Rostov region).

The exposition is dedicated to the writer's cabinet, where Leo Tolstoy in different years created artistic and journalistic works. It is made up of the unique original exhibits from the Museum-Estate "Yasnaya Polyana" and the State Museum of Leo Tolstoy in Moscow, personal belongings of the writer, objects, serving him assistants in creative work, photos of Leo Tolstoy and his family members, publications of novels, short stories and articles created by Tolstoy.
