International events: The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts to participate in the anniversary Paris Salon of a Drawing

The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts (Moscow) will be the guest of honor of the Paris Salon of Drawing which turns 25 this year. Specially to this event the museum department of graphics prepared the exhibition of more than two dozens of works, which reflect all national schools and time periods presented in the collection.

Among the exhibits – works by Parmigianino, Giorgio De Chirico, Jean-Baptiste, as well as works by Russian artists of the late XIX to 20s of XX century, including Orestes Kiprensky and Ilya Repin, Zinaida Serebryakova and Leon Bakst, Alexander Rodchenko, Alexander Benois and Alexander Deineka.

The drawing Salon was founded in 1991 and in 1996 became international. Since 2009, it involved galleries of modern art. Partners of the fair over the years were the largest Parisian museums and libraries.

In 2016 the Salon of Drawing will be held in Palais Brongniart in Paris from March 30 to April 4.
