Museums of Russia: Exhibitions of the project, representing new acquisitions in the collection, is presented in the Ryazan Kremlin

February 9, 2016 at the Palace of Oleg in the Ryazan Kremlin took place the grand opening of two exhibitions in the framework of the project, presenting new acquisitions in the collection of the Ryazan Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve in recent years.

Shows the "Encyclopedia of the old way of life" and "Born in the USSR" are a kind of annual report to the Ryazan Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve on the critical area of ​​museum activity - acquisition of the fund collection over the past few years.

The exhibition "Encyclopedia of the old way of life" illustrates some aspects of the way of life of our ancestors in the first third of XX century, that is a hundred years ago. Visitors will be able to see the elements of traditional costume Ryazan province, male and female urban costume, accompanied by the necessary accessories, items of jewelry turn of the century, the collection of glass and porcelain, rare instances of small-circulation publications, and more. A special part of the exhibition consists of items, the combined theme of childhood, as well as a collection of a variety of photographic portraits of children. 

The second part of the project - "Born in the USSR" - presents artifacts of the recent past of our country.

Exhibitions of new revenue-air museum will be exhibited in the Palace of Oleg until early April.
