1 February 2016

The Russian Military Historical Society announces the national fundraiser to build a monument to military doctors and medical sisters, which is planned to be established on the Day of Defender of the Fatherland at the Moscow State Institute of Culture (IPCC).

On the territory of the Moscow State Institute of Culture in the Great Patriotic War it was deployed a military hospital which saved and brought back into operation more than 5000 soldiers and officers. The huge help in the treatment of patients was provided by the teachers and students of the university.

The Russian Military Historical Society took the initiative to create a monument to the IPCC on the territory of military doctors and medical sisters, who have made an invaluable contribution to the Great Victory.
