Internet and history: The electronic version of the publication “Soldiers of Victory” is posted at the website of the Archives of the Novgorod region

The website "Archives of the Novgorod region" hosts the electronic version of the volume № 13 of the publication of "Soldiers of Victory".

The thirteenth volume of the publication contains data on newly diagnosed Heroes of the Soviet Union, Commander of the Order of Kutuzov, Victory Parade participants, the deputy supreme state power bodies of the USSR and RSFSR of the Novgorod region - participants of the Great Patriotic War - for 1946-1990 years, biographical information on the front-line soldiers, natives all districts of the region, as well as the newly identified or modern data about the fallen in the Great Patriotic war, defenders of the Fatherland of all areas of the Novgorod region. It is continued the publication of data on those killed, wounded, missing out during the First World War natives of the Novgorod province. For the first time are published data on the losses of the Vilmanstrandsky Regiment in the Russian-Japanese War of 1904-1905, the dead in the two Chechen wars of the XX century, the natives of the Novgorod region. Total 2796 names of defenders of the Fatherland are immortalized. Sheets of awarded texts are published in author's edition.  

This volume also presents an excerpt from the memoirs of war veteran P. M. Savelyev, stories by Y. L. Ivanov about the search for his father's burial place, G. V. Batagova (Sukhareva) about the hard times experienced by children and women under the Meat Bohr, S. P. Yegorova of the search results of the owner of front spoon I. A .Peshkov.

Novgorod volumes of nationwide edition "Soldiers of Victory", including biographical information about the front-line soldiers of the Novgorod region, will be a worthy monument to the winners of fascism. The book is intended for veterans, researchers, students and university professors, students, local historians, for anyone interested in the history of their native land.
