Information technology and education: The V National School Week of High Technology

From March 14-20, 2016 is held the V National School Week of High Tech entrepreneurship. On the fifth anniversary year it takes place with the support of the Rosatom, Rosnano and Roscosmos under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.

One of the main objectives of the Week is to show the younger generation how fascinating and diverse the world of science and high technology is and to attract attention of schoolchildren to the study of technical disciplines. In 2016 the program includes formats and events, which allow the students, their parents and teachers to dive into the world of innovative technology and to learn about actual research developments.

The uniqueness of the event lies in its accessibility. Anyone can join one of the events by registering on the website of the Week. Students will be offered as network events - screenings, webinars, lectures and master classes, exhibitions, seminars, quizzes and "quests" offline. Open access will be available methodological development for teachers - lessons by experts from the three state-owned corporations. The lessons are designed for different age groups, so to the world of science to touch and first-graders, and alumni.

In addition, information centers for nuclear energy (ITSAE) in 16 Russian cities have prepared more than a hundred special events within the Week of High Technologies.
