The project concept of teaching the Russian language and literature in schools is given to the Government, which will have to approve the document. This was stated by State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin in Tyumen at a meeting with historians of the Urals.

"We have made a commitment and developed the concept of teaching the Russian language and literature in schools. Part of the work is performed, the project concept has been prepared, it is now moved to the Government", - said Naryshkin.

According to him, after "it will be approved by the Government, approved on the basis of this document a few lines of textbooks will be developed for the teaching of the Russian language and literature".
