Society and culture: The XIX Moscow International Salon “CHA-2016. The Image of the Time”

The XII Moscow International Art Salon "CHA-2016. The Image of the Time" is held from March 4-13, 2016 in the Central House of Artists (Moscow).

The theme of the Salon "The image of the Time" highlights the evolution of the artistic consciousness that has occurred since the mid 50s of the last century to the present time. Particular emphasis is placed on the work, in which there is the image of time, reflecting the perceptions of the realities of life in several generations of artists. Through the works of the masters, who have always had their own position, are presented the most expressive images of the era of significant socio-political and cultural-historical changes and, above all, the works which retain their artistic value.

As part of the Salon on March 5 in the Central House of Artists will be held the "round table" on the topic "The image of the Time", which invires participants of the Salon, critics and journalists.
