Information technology and culture: The application “Live pages” was recognized the best project to promote Russian language and culture

The "Live Pages" was awarded first place at the III All-Russian competition "Building the Future" in the nomination "Russian World", which identifies the best projects to promote Russian language and culture. The ceremony took place in the framework of the Moscow International Salon of Education, which was held at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements from 13 to 16 April 2016.

At the moment "Live Pages" is an interactive encyclopedia on the novel by Leo Tolstoy's "War and Peace", but in the near future the application also includes "Crime and Punishment" by Fyodor Dostoevsky and other works of Russian classical literature.

The application "Live Pages" is designed by Samsung with the participation of a group of linguists and Tolstoy Digital Linguistics School NRU "Higher School of Economics". The curator of the project was a journalist and radio broadcaster TV Thekla Tolstaya and partners - the State Historical Museum, ABBYY Company and a platform for creating multimedia guides izi.TRAVEL.
