History of Russia: The round table, dedicated to the Crimean Offensive 1944, in Feodosia

April 22, 2016 is held the round table "Crimean Offensive 1944 in the Feodosia Museum of Antiquities (Republic of Crimea). To the 72nd anniversary of the liberation of the Crimea and Sevastopol from the Nazi invaders". The event will address the historical aspects of the Crimean offensive operation, which was conducted from April 8 to May 12, 1944 the forces of the 4th Ukrainian Front and the Independent Coastal Army, in cooperation with the Black Sea Fleet and the Azov Flotilla.

The round table is attended by veterans and participants of combat operations, the representatives of the Club of history lovers of Feodosia, Feodosia local historian and author of the "Book of Memory of Seaside" Michael Obletov, the deputies of the City Council, representatives of the city's schools and students. Currently in the museum it is activated a military-patriotic work with the younger generation in the museum, which should be the hallmark of the museum.
