Information technology and education: Senior pupils will be able to participate in championship in the field of information security

"Kaspersky Lab" launches championship for senior pupils who want to try their hand at solving information security problems. Kaspersky CyberHeroes contest involves team work, in which students must develop the concept of a guaranteed system of identification of the individual user on the web. The best projects will be presented in the regional finals which will be held in five cities in Russia, and the winners will receive valuable prizes from "Kaspersky Lab".

To participate in Kaspersky Cyber​Heroes championship are invited Russian schoolchildren, students of 8-11 grades. It is not necessary to have extensive knowledge in the field of IT and programming: ​​a team of three people in addition to the programmer has the role of the architect, develop concepts, and business manager in charge of the project progress. Which of these roles is most suitable for each particular party, will help to determine specific testing for vocational guidance, which you can pass on the competition website.

The jury will choose the most interesting concepts of the system sound and a secure user authentication. The authors of these concepts will be able to present them live in the regional finals which will be held in mid-May in five cities: Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Kazan, St. Petersburg and Moscow.

Throughout the championship, "Kaspersky Lab" will provide support to participants. To this end, the company has developed special textbooks for each competitive stage. In addition, the experts of "Kaspersky Lab" will advise students as part of webinars, as well as at a group page Kaspersky CyberHeroes in the social network "VKontakte".
