Information technology and history: Films with unique frames of historical events of the Krasnoyarsk Krai are digitized

In Krasnoyarsk for the first time will be held the show of the digitized films with unique frames of historical events. This was reported in the press-service of the regional Ministry of Culture.

The first show will be held on April 19, 2016 in the cinema "Krasnoyarsk Kinograf". Krasnoyarsk citizens will be able to see documentary footage of 1960-1970s: the construction of the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power station, the first in the region karting competitions, the daily work of employees of Krasnoyarsk candy factory.

In early March to "Krasnoyarsk Kinograf" for the temporary storage it was transferred 114 parts of films from the collections of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum of Local Lore. During the month in the "Kinograf" workshops was conducted gentle work on the restoration and digitization of unique frames.

Screenings take place in the framework of the "Newsreel of Krasnoyarsk Krai" project. They will be held at various venues in the city, as digitization of new films.
