To the 55th anniversary of the first manned space flight: The exhibition “Call sign – “Cedar” in the Yaroslavl region

The Museum "Space" (v. Nikulskoe of Tutaev district of the Yaroslavl region) hosted the opening of the exhibition "Call sign - "Cedar", dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the first manned flight into space.

The funds of the Yaroslavl Museum-Reserve keep a large number of posters of the 1960s, badges and medals to various memorials dedicated to the flight of the first cosmonaut, documents and materials about the life of Yuri Gagarin.

At the exhibition, visitors can experience the numerous photographs as Yaroslavl residents met a message about the flight of Yuri Gagarin. Not once Yuri Gagarin visited Yaroslavl, he was captured in photographs on the meeting of the active regional and rural organizations in the building of Komsomol political education, in a meeting with the workers of the state farm "New North", with students of the Karabikhskaya School.
