To the 55th anniversary of the first manned space flight: The exhibition “Space on stamps of the world” in Feodosia

April 14, 2016 in the Feodosia Museum of Antiquities is held a presentation of the new exhibition "Space on stamps of the world", dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the first manned flight into space.

Its centerpiece is stamps, valuable documents and materials related to outer space. The exhibition includes stamps of the USSR and the socialist countries' of 60s - 80s of the XX century, dedicated to the theme of astronautics: the flight of Yuri Gagarin; the first group of cosmonauts; Soviet space program and space exploration; space vehicles; international space cooperation in space - the program "Intercosmos"; astronauts of participating countries "Intercosmos" program; commemorative stamps. Also, anyone can get acquainted with the materials of direct relevance to space exploration: pictures with original autographs of astronauts to the test pilot A. A. Matiushkin; copies of the newspaper "Pravda", "Komsomolskaya Pravda" of 1961 with reports of the flights of Yuri Gagarin and Herman Titov; postcards with the image of the first cosmonauts of the USSR; envelopes with stamps and special additions. Of particular interest to visitors will cause brands postal service of Mongolia, Cuba, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Poland, Vietnam on the space theme.
