World history: The exhibition “Wonders of the country Bulgar” in Feodosia
May 27, 2016 is held a presentation of the new exhibition "Wonders of the country Bulgar" in Feodosia Museum of Antiquities. The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Union of Artists of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Feodosia Museum of Antiquities. The exhibition presents the works of artists of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The legendary "Great Bulgaria", was full of people shopping city, one of the capitals of the Volga-Kama Bulgaria, and later - one of the largest cities of the Golden Horde, still excites the imagination with its magnificent ruins and ancient monuments that have survived to the present day.
It was the area of the Bulgarian State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve that became the venue for the "Art Expedition" of artistic interregional project. Historical monuments are associated with drevnebulgarskoy history, landscape environment - all this has given much food for thought and the creation of artists rendered image of ancient Bulgar in various genres of fine art, in a variety of stylistic directions and materials.
The exposition presents more than fifty works of art, in which the ancient culture and archaic images were organically combined with a modern visual language. Beyond the usual audience of paintings and graphic works, the exhibition shows the art objects, referring us to the archetypes of the mythological consciousness. Each work in the exhibition was inspired by the images of the ancient Bulgar - the world, in fact deceased, surviving only in the relics, artifacts, architectural monuments, historical chronicles, myths and legends.
For the first time the exposition of the project "Art Expedition" titled "Wonder of the country Bulgar" was presented at the Center "Hermitage-Kazan" of the State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve "Kazan Kremlin" in April 2016.
The exhibition will run from May 27 to June 14, 2016.
