Information technology and museums: Multimedia audio guide to be presented within the International action “Night of Museums” in Saint-Petersburg

"Night of Museums" - an annual event dedicated to the International Day of Museums. This is an international event, which is held annually in 42 European countries. Nearly 2,000 museums do not sleep once a year, opening its doors to all who are interested to see the museum in an unusual time of the day.

In 2016 "Night of Museums" will be held in the night from 21 to 22 May. St. Petersburg museums, large and small, traditionally open their doors to visitors in the evening and at night, as well as prepare a special program: one day exhibition, concerts, performances, author tours, workshops, historical reconstruction.

During the "Night of Museums - 2016" in 19 museums begin working free multimedia audio guide. It will consist of a map-guide to museums participating and audio tours, announced at Audioguides.ru studio.

To use the audio guide, you need to install the free app izi.TRAVEL and scan special QR-code, which will be placed in museums. Audio History will be made publicly available in the "Night of Museums - 2016".
