World culture: Multimedia exposition “Fearless”, dedicated to the preservation of Middle East historical heritage in Saint-Petersburg

The exhibition "Fearless" is opened on May 18, 2016 in the Anna Akhmatova Museum at the Fountain House (St. Petersburg) within the International scientific-practical conference of the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts "In the face of chaos". Saving the tangible and intangible heritage in the XXI century".

Multimedia exhibition "Fearless" is devoted to the efforts of the representatives of the different countries (scientists, government officials, museum staff, journalists) to preserve the historical heritage of the Middle East.

Another dominant feature of this small exhibition - sculpture of the artist Emil Kapelyush (replica of the Sumerian Early Dynastic period, statuettes, middle of III millennium BC).

The exposition is dedicated to Vladimir Shileiko (1891-1930), assyriology researcher and translator of the Assyrian-Babylonian epic.
