Memory of Russia: Days of Memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union A. P. Maresiev in the Novgorod region

From 18 to 20 May 2016 in Veliky Novgorod and the Novgorod region are held Days of Memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union, legendary pilot Alexei Petrovich Maresiev.

The days of memory will be open on May 18 with a lesson of courage in the regional library. The participants of the lesson of courage will familiarize themselves with the book-documentary exhibition "I - a man and not a legend", which along with the prints exhibit items of the Hall of Military Glory of Veliky Novgorod. As part of the lesson will be a special film screening of the film "The Story of a Real Man" (on the novel by Boris Polevoy - Mosfilm, 1948).

On May 19, the students will be organized trip gymnasium "Novoskul" and organizers in the Valdai area to place the crash of A. P. Maresiev and then will visit the House-Museum in the village afloat. The days will be over on May 20 in the gymnasium building with a concert and literary and musical composition.
